Custom framed original. 36”x36” Acrylic/oil paint, ink, water color and enamel on 1/2” birchwood finished off in high gloss resin epoxy with iridescent and metal flake. 

Figure is inspired by Quanah Parker, the last Chief of the Quahadi Comanche. Parker was both a major resistor to white settlers, as well as a leader in the tribe’s adjustment to reservation life.
